It is with great sadness that the society has to inform you that Violet passed away on Friday 28th Oct.
If you ever visited or phoned the centre you'll be familiar with our most stalwart volunteer of all.
The ever-present Violet Murray, whose knowledge and helpfulness was unrivalled.
Not only was Violet always ready with new lines of approach to your family-history research,
but also she was extremely modest and self-effacing and will be greatly missed.
